January 18……Lutfiyya Muhammad has been named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Player of the Week.  Muhammad a senior from Philadelphia led the Lady Wolves to a 1-1 week.  Cheyney soundly defeated Mansfield and fell to Bloomsburg in their first two conference contests of the season.  A transfer from Delaware State, Muhammad led Cheyney in scoring in both games. 

Against Bloomsburg she scored a season high 24 points on 9-17 shooting from the field.  She was 4-11 from behind the arc and 2-3 from the foul line.  She was also credited with four rebounds, two assists and two steals.  Against Mansfield she netted 18 points on 6-11 shooting from the field and 4-9 from three point distance.  She was a perfect 2-2 from the charity stripe.  She grabbed four rebounds to go along with three assists and a steal.

Muhammad and the rest of the Cheyney Lady Wolves will be back in action on Wednesday night at West Chester University.  Tip-off is slated for 7:30 p.m.
