February 15……..Despite the tenth double double of the season by Angel Stephens, 13 points and 10 rebounds, Cheyney (8-14:5-5 PSAC E) fell to West Chester (16-7:6-4) 70-67.  Lutfiyya Muhammad led all scorers with 21 for the Lady Wolves. Muhammad had an attempt to send the game into overtime but her shot was off the mark. 

With the game tied at 12, West Chester went on an 11-2 run to take nine point lead with 8:44 remaining in the first half.  The Golden Rams stretched the lead to 13 before Cheyney scored the final five points of the half to cut the lead to 35-27. 

In the second half the Golden Rams once again pulled away to extend the lead to 19 points before the Cheyney comeback commenced.  Trailing 63-44, Cheyney went on a 21-2 run to tie the game a 65 with 2:03 to play.  Cheyney had several chances to send the game to overtime but was unable to convert.

The Lady Wolves are at Millersville on Wednesday night.
