Garcia Sets New Record in Shot Put

Javier Garcia set a new school record in the shot put with an effort of 14.91 m. He finished at the Princeton Invitational and was the top D II finisher.
Lonnell Wilson and Kemuel Wright both made the final of the 60 meters. Wilson finished second in a time of 7.00. Wright’s time of 7.01 in the preliminaries was the second fastest of the day. Wilson also finished second in the 200 meters with a time of 22.49.
Nate McCoy and Justin Watkins finished eighth and ninth respectively in the long jump with marks of 6.28 m and 6.16 m.

The Wolves will be in action next weekend at the PSAC Indoor Championship hosted by Edinboro.
