PSAC Individual Tennis Championships Postponed Until Spring

The PSAC individual tennis championships, which were scheduled to take place this weekend at Bloomsburg, have been postponed until the spring due to the flood waters that have inundated the town of Bloomsburg recently. The individual tennis championships, which were scheduled to be the first PSAC championship of 2011-12, will now be held on April 28-29 of 2012 at Bloomsburg and will be one of the final PSAC championships to be contested this year.

While Bloomsburg University itself escaped any major damage from the recent floods, the university is closed through next Monday, September 19 and with limited running water as well as the logistical challenges of getting around the town during the recovery process, it was decided by the conference's coaches and administrators that the best choice was to postpone the championship until April.
